In November 2012, Reverend Carlos Antonio Younger was ordained to the Gospel Ministry at the Miracle Center of Faith Missionary Baptist Church where he served for nine years as minister of music and church administrator.

Reverend Younger was installed on November 6, 2019, as the third pastor of the Freedom Baptist Church, located in the Northwest U Street corridor of Washington, DC.

In 2018, Reverend Younger joined the staff and membership of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where he currently serves as the church administrator under the ministerial guidance of Reverend Terry D. Streeter, Pastor.

Reverend Younger holds a

Associates Degree in Music, University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia.
Government Accounting Certification from the USDA, Washington, DC.
Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, Washington Baptist Theological Seminary; and a
Master of Divinity Degree, Washington Baptist Theological Seminary.

Reverend Younger is honored to serve as a board member and officer of the Baptist Convention of DC & Vicinity, board member at Hampton University Ministers and Choir Directors Guild, and budget director of the Eastern Region of the Progressive National Baptist Convention. Reverend Younger also serves as the music director for the American Baptist Churches of the South Convention.

Reverend Younger is a noted composer and has presented his musical compositions at the Hampton Ministers & Organist Guild Conference, Gospel Choirs and Choruses, and Gospel Music Workshop of America. He has been blessed to conduct workshops and seminars in various cities.

In all that God has blessed him to do, Reverend Younger gives all honor and praise to his Heavenly Father, who has granted him the opportunity to serve in the Kingdom. He is the proud father of two wonderfully amazing children, Charles Anthony Younger and Christine Danielle Younger.
